Here’s an example I had in mind. Your friend Bob pays you a visit and you use it as an opportunity to show him your vacation pics. The thing is that the photos are on your PC and you don’t feel like using it – you would much rather use your TV to present your pics. What can you do to view photos from your PC on your TV? Well, you can use ALLMediaServer, of course. Offered by the ALLPlayer Group, this tool allows you to play videos, watch photos, or listen to music from your PC on your TV or smartphone.

Download an installer, run it, then click through the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. These are the standard steps you must go through to install a software application on your PC. These are also the steps you must go through to install ALLMediaServer on your PC.

ALLMediaServer has a dark-themed interface that I found to be quite good looking and very easy to use. If you have any problems figuring out the interface, access ALLMediaServer’s help documentation. You can do so by clicking the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner of the application’s interface. Do so and you will be directed to the Support section on ALLMediaServer.org.

The Support section nicely presents ALLMediaServer’s interface. Not only that, it also presents useful information on how to use the application to access media from your PC on your smartphone or TV. Please note that your smartphone/TV must be AllShare/DLNA compatible.

ALLMediaServer is free software.

Your media is stored on your PC, but you can access it from your TV or smartphone. Thanks to ALLMediaServer you can play videos, watch photos, or listen to music from your PC on your TV or smartphone.

Pros

There is nothing complicated about installing ALLMediaServer on a Windows PC. ALLMediaServer has a dark-themed interface that is good looking and easy to use. The Support section on ALLMediaServer.org nicely presents ALLMediaServer’s interface; it also presents useful info on how to use the application. ALLMediaServer is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
